A recent conversion to riding a recumbent bicycle has resulted in many more miles in the saddle. What a comfortable saddle it is! It is like riding a bicycle from your easy chair.

re·cum·bent (rĭ-kŭm’bənt)1
adjective

  1. Lying down, especially in a position of comfort or rest; reclining.
  2. Resting; idle.
  3. Biology Resting on the surface from which it arises. Used of an organ or other structure.

The bike is a RANS Stratus LE and it has allowed me to enjoy riding a bike again. I have actually ridden to work a number of times during the summer. This is a 26.5 mile round trip.

I bought the bike at a little shop in Uptown (Minneapolis), Calhoun Cycle, that specializes in recumbents.

The Stratus is a classic Alan.
Thanks for letting us help you get set up with it.
